Destiny Cards Improve Overall Communication

FYI....the cards can also show you how to improve your overall communication skills (talking and listening, specifically).

1. Starting from your birth card, count 1 space to your left. This is your Mercury card. It represents your personal communication style and how you express yourself to the world. Remember that every card has a high and low side to it aka functional and dysfunctional, respectively.

For example, my Mercury card is a 2. The number 2 is ruled by the Moon and represents the feminine principle in creation, which is the unconscious spirit. It is also receptive. In which ever aspect of your life, 2's are a direct reflection of how responsible (response+able) you are in any given suit (element). In this case, we are dealing with spades, which represent the element of fire. Fire can represent many things in this universe. In this particular system, spades usually deal with labor. They are the eldest element and because they are the accumulation of the rest of the suits (hearts, clubs, diamonds), they are also referred to as the wisest. Add those two energies with Mercurial energy, and you come up with a very wise communicator that always needs to be engaged in some sort of dialogue to process what is going on in life. They need to express their wisdom as much as they need to breathe.

The high side of this is great for friendships because its an easy energy for other to be able to express themselves in. The low side is that because it is so responsive and karmic in nature (6 of spades karma card) it will respond to bad energy and/or emotions with logic and not empathy, which leads to plenty of arguments and debates. The responses are fiery (spades) and can feel like every word is burning the other person who is emotionally involved in the conversation. So make sure that anytime you speak with a 4, how they come across is always in response to the spirit of the environment.

2. Starting from your birth card, count 7 spaces to the left or just look at the card that is directly beneath your birth card. This is your Neptune card. It represents your ideals, fantasies, and dreams. This card represents your impressions and shows us how you unconsciously receive other people's communication (Mercury). Basically, it represents what type of listener you are. Remember that every card has a high and low side to it aka functional and dysfunctional, respectively.

For example, my Neptune card is an 8. The number 8 is ruled by Saturn. Saturn energy deals with discipline, strength, and power. It is very specific and always successful. In which ever aspect of your life, 8's fortify it's position and brings strength to it. The position we are currently referring to is the diamond suit. Diamonds represent the earth element. In this particular system, diamonds deal with money and values. So, the 8 signifies an energy that has very strong values and is extremely successful with money. Add those two energies with Neptunian energy and you come up with an energy that is extremely successful in the area of dreams, especially dream building aka practically making dreams come true.

In regards to listening in a conversation, the high side of the 8 in Neptune is that it knows exactly what you are trying to say. This energy allows you to feel that whatever it is that you are saying, you are being understood. Even if you didn't know how to say it or would never communicate your ideas like that, you still feel understood. When we feel that someone is listening to us and feel understood, this inspires us to follow our instincts and instills confidence. The low side of this energy can feel very controlling and in the midst of a conversation can also feel like you can't even get your message across because it's very threatening and abusive. It makes you feel not understood or listened to at all. Couple that with the 2 in Mercury, a 4 can make you feel very small by cutting you down to size. 2's, 4's, and 8's can chisel you to the bone. So be careful how you talk to them because they fight fire with fire (2). (Now yall got the inside scoop on my communication powers, well some of it wink emoticon lol)

3. Study yours and other's Mercury (expression) and Neptune (impression) cards. Try to see the dynamics in communication created with others you know.
